Pool Cleaning Services Offered

When clients call to ask about our pool cleaning services, it’s one of a few things usually – (1) the filter is messed up, (2) there’s a lot of garbage in the pool after a raging party, or (3) the pool’s just been uncovered for the year and is in need of chemical fixing.

The filter is by far the most common pool issue.  It doesn’t matter which brand you choose; sooner or later the filter will simply stop working.  One simple trick we’ve found to be effective in fixing this is to simply unplug it and plug it back in.  There’s not really any scientific reasoning for this that we can come up with, it just works.  Think of it like a system reboot.  The same concept that works on your cellphone works here.  Next time your filter isn’t working or is acting weird like shutting on and off randomly, try that first and save yourself some money.  If it doesn’t work, then give us a call and we’ll take a look.  If we can do a quick repair, we will.  If not, we have a number of contacts that make pool filters, so we can get you a state-of-the-art system and install it for a reasonable price.

If there’s a ton of garbage in the pool or debris, whether it’s from a storm or a party, we can help clean it out.  Our pool cleaners will hop in one of our many service vehicles, drive to your location, hop the fence, and get to work right away. We’re pretty fast, so we should only need about 30 minutes to get the job done.  The only exception to this is if you have a tremendous amount of items at a depth of more than 3 feet.  If your lawn chairs are sitting at the bottom of the deep end, it may take us a little while to clean the pool. We try not to go in the water unless we absolutely have to, but occasionally our job necessitates it.

The third most common cleaning requirement is beginning of the year preparation when the pool has just been uncovered after being outside all winter long.  When you roll that cover back, not only will you see a huge amount of twigs and leaves, but you’ll see dead animals and yellow/greenish water.  First, we clean out all the leaves, animals, and other assorted debris.  Then, we get to work on fixing the chemicals in the water.  We add things like chlorine, “shock”, and other chemical tablets to get the pH and acidity back to normal, tolerable levels.

If you have any questions on the process, feel free to reach out to us and ask.  We work with customers very closely and enjoy helping you get the most out of your pool experience.
